Consultants planning improvements in a strategy meeting

Our Approach

Improvement is a discipline, not a promise.

A structured 90-day roadmap, followed by the continuous support that keeps improvements alive. This is how we work with facilities across Ghana.

The 90-day method

Four disciplines, one roadmap.

Every facility is different, but the discipline is the same: assess first, correct what matters most, build durable systems, and sustain the gains.

The structured phase runs for ninety days. After that, the engagement transitions to periodic reviews and advisory support — because the goal is not a finished project, it is a facility that keeps improving.

A note on honesty: we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as revenue growth or approval rates. We provide the method, the discipline and the monitoring to find and fix problems — and to prove whether improvement is happening.

  1. Phase 1

    Weeks 1–2

    Assess

A structured baseline assessment of the facility — administration, finance, billing, medical claims, HR, patient flow, pharmacy, laboratory, records, procurement and reporting.

    • Structured operational assessment
    • Baseline data across key departments
    • Key problems identified and prioritised
    • Healthcare Facility Baseline Report
  2. Phase 2

    Weeks 3–6

    Correct

Corrective actions agreed with management. Every action has a responsible officer, a deadline and a measurable indicator — and reporting is agreed on day one.

    • Prioritised corrective action plan
    • Named responsible officers and deadlines
    • Agreed performance indicators
    • Weekly status reporting
  3. Phase 3

    Weeks 7–12

    Build

Durable systems and tools installed so the improvements last: procedures, templates, routines and reports the facility actually uses.

    • Standard operating procedures
    • Claims and revenue monitoring routines
    • Staff and patient-service procedures
    • Monthly management reports
  4. Phase 4

    Ongoing

    Sustain

Periodic reviews and advisory support keep the facility accountable and protect the gains long after the project phase ends.

    • Monthly management reviews
    • Quarterly comprehensive audits
    • Continuous advisory support
    • Accountability for agreed actions

What the facility receives

Deliverables you can hold in your hand

Every engagement produces concrete, usable outputs — not vague promises.

A documented baseline

A clear report of where the facility stands, so progress is measured against evidence, not memory.

A prioritised action plan

The issues that matter most, each with an owner, a deadline and a way to measure success.

Working systems and tools

Procedures, templates and routines your staff will actually use — not documents that gather dust.

Management reporting

Reports that let management see, month after month, whether the facility is improving.
